Ohuabunwa urges Nigerians facing hardship not to give up hope, encouraging faith, prayer, compassion and support for vulnerable people during a humanitarian outreach in Rivers State.

Humanitarian, Mr. Godfrey Ohuabunwa, has urged Nigerians facing difficult circumstances to remain hopeful, prayerful and steadfast, stressing that challenging situations can change through faith and perseverance.

Ohuabunwa made the call during a Feeding the Needy Programme organised by the Help Without Boundaries Initiative in collaboration with Morning Flight 97.7 FM at Okrika National Secondary School, Okrika, Rivers State.

The outreach provided food and other forms of assistance to elderly people, children and other vulnerable members of the community.

Speaking during the programme, Ohuabunwa encouraged participants not to lose hope when confronted with hardship, reminding them of the biblical assurance that nothing is too difficult for God.

Quoting Jeremiah 32:27, he urged the participants to remain committed to prayer and trust in God despite their circumstances.

He also appealed to parents not to abandon children who had gone astray, saying persistent prayer, guidance, patience and love could help such children return to the right path.

Ohuabunwa cited the biblical story of Hannah as an example of the power of persistent prayer, noting that her continued faith eventually brought an answer to her long-standing challenge.

He also referenced the feeding of the five thousand by Jesus Christ, saying the account demonstrated God’s ability to provide for people even in situations of apparent scarcity.

The humanitarian called on individuals and organisations to contribute to the wellbeing of vulnerable members of society by showing compassion and extending practical support to those in need.

The programme also featured a Christian salvation message based on John 3:16, with participants encouraged to embrace the Christian faith and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Earlier, the event featured prayers, praise and worship, as well as testimonies from members of the Morning Flight family recounting their experiences of God’s faithfulness.

The Feeding the Needy Programme sought to address both the material and emotional needs of vulnerable residents by combining food assistance with encouragement, prayer and community support.

Organisers said the initiative was designed to strengthen bonds within the community while reminding vulnerable people that they were not forgotten.

The outreach ended with renewed calls for faith, compassion and practical service to humanity, particularly towards people facing poverty, loneliness and other difficult circumstances.
