Kogi State government officials and political stakeholders have guaranteed an overwhelming election victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, citing massive federal and state infrastructure projects inspected during a statewide media tour.
In a strong political endorsement following an extensive multi-day inspection of major infrastructure developments, the Kogi State Government and key political stakeholders have formally guaranteed a decisive election victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 polls.
The resounding pledge was delivered as the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, working in collaboration with the Presidential Media Team, concluded the third day of their joint media tour evaluating federal and state government projects across the state.
State officials emphasized that the public remains eager to reward the administration at the ballot box to ensure the continuation and consolidation of far-reaching economic reforms that have set the nation on a clear trajectory toward sustainable growth, industrial recovery, and long-term prosperity.
Speaking at Gbede in the Yagba West Local Government Area, the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Honourable Kingsley Fanwo, affirmed that citizens are directly experiencing the tangible benefits of ongoing federal and state interventions.
Fanwo noted that fiscal reforms championed by the presidency have liberated crucial financial resources for sub-national governments, empowering states to execute unprecedented developmental projects across rural and urban communities.
He maintained that come January 2027, the electorate across Kogi State will turn out in full force to demonstrate their appreciation at the polls by securing a sweeping electoral triumph for President Tinubu and the ruling party across all political levels.
The inspection delegation, led by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Chief Sunday Dare, toured a series of landmark projects designed to enhance regional connectivity and social welfare.
The high-profile itinerary included a newly asphalted 15-kilometer internal road network equipped with modern drainage systems, a newly built Primary Health Centre in Gbede, and the ongoing federal reconstruction of the long-abandoned Kabba-Egbe-Omuaran-Ilorin corridor.
Additionally, the team evaluated extensive rural road networks in Okene, an erosion control site, a state-of-the-art Federal Teaching Hospital in the state capital, and the ongoing construction of a massive 16-hectare Lokoja International Market, which has reached 50 percent completion and remains on track for commissioning within 18 months.
Reflecting on the tour, Chief Sunday Dare lauded Governor Usman Ododo’s developmental strides in health, education, security, and human capital development, noting that state projects align seamlessly with the President’s Eight-Point Agenda.
Dare highlighted that federal interventions, such as the Federal Executive Council’s approval to rehabilitate the strategic Kabba-Ilorin road after over three decades of neglect, are vital for supporting heavy industrial activity, including major logistics operations for regional cement manufacturers.
Joined by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Engagement, Fredrick Nwabufo, alongside local leaders including Yagba West Council Chairman Tosin Olokun, Environment Commissioner Hon. Engr. Joseph Oluwasegun, and Works Commissioner Barrister Deedat, the delegation concluded that the revitalized infrastructure across Kogi State offers undeniable proof that the Renewed Hope Agenda is actively transforming lives and strengthening economic resilience across the country.
