The Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA) has called on the Federal and State Governments to urgently upgrade hospitals across Nigeria to improve healthcare delivery and emergency response capacity. MWIA President, Dr. Eleanor Nwadinobi, made the appeal in Enugu following the death of Arise TV anchor, Somtochukwu Maduagwu, describing the incident as a wake-up call on Nigeria’s failing health system.
