The Enugu State Government, in partnership with the Tomorrow Is Here Movement, has launched an epic good governance jingles competition with over ₦7 million in cash prizes to discover home-grown musical talents and mobilize support for the re-election of Governor Peter Mbah.
In a massive drive to unearth local creative talents and amplify the developmental strides of the current administration, the Enugu State Government has officially launched a high-stakes musical campaign.
The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Mainstream Media, in a strategic partnership with the Tomorrow Is Here (TIH) Movement, is formally inviting talented individuals, musical groups, and content creators to participate in the prestigious 2026 Jingles Competition on Good Governance in Enugu State.
This grand initiative is specifically designed to discover and elevate home-grown musical talents, foster grassroots creativity, and offer a powerful promotional platform for indigenous artists while simultaneously generating compelling audio content that highlights the transformational leadership, infrastructural achievements, and citizen-first programs of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
With a total prize pool exceeding ₦7 million, the organizers are actively seeking original, captivating, and highly memorable campaign jingles that will inspire and encourage the good people of Enugu State to overwhelmingly re-elect Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah in the upcoming gubernatorial race.
A distinguished panel of seasoned industry judges will meticulously evaluate all submissions to select the finest entries based on strict creative standards.
The most exceptional participants will walk away with life-changing financial rewards, and the winning audio productions may be officially adopted and extensively deployed across nationwide media channels as part of the public enlightenment, grassroots mobilization, and electioneering campaign activities aimed at securing a resounding victory for Governor Mbah and the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the 2027 polls.
The financial stakes for the contest are remarkably high, offering a robust tier of rewards designed to attract the absolute best creative minds in the region.
The ultimate winner of the competition will claim a grand first prize of ₦2,000,000, while the second and third-place runners-up will receive ₦1,000,000 and ₦750,000 respectively.
Recognizing the deep pool of talent expected to participate, the financial rewards extend well into the top ten, with the fourth-place entry securing ₦600,000, the fifth-place taking home ₦500,000, and the sixth through tenth-place winners receiving ₦250,000 each, alongside an additional ten consolation prizes for other standout performers.
To ensure an orderly and fair selection process, the organizers have established comprehensive guidelines governing all submissions.
The competition is fully inclusive and open to all professional or aspiring musicians, songwriters, vocalists, music producers, and creative enthusiasts who are indigenes, residents, or passionate well-wishers of Enugu State.
While entries can be submitted by either individuals or collaborative groups, each participant is permitted to submit a maximum of five original entries.
Crucially, every single submission must be an entirely original composition created specifically for this 2026 showcase and must not infringe upon the intellectual property or copyrights of any third party or external organization.
Lyrically, the submitted jingles must carry an unmistakably positive, clear, and resonant message that passionately urges the electorate to support and re-elect Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah by creatively highlighting his administration’s vision and transformational programs.
Furthermore, the tracks must skillfully encourage listeners to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC), explicitly mentioning the party’s official symbol, the broom. Reflecting the rich cultural diversity of the region, participants are free to perform their tracks in English, Igbo, local dialects, Pidgin English, or a creative blend of these languages, provided the final runtime of the audio does not exceed a strict limit of 60 seconds.
All prospective contestants must submit their final entries exclusively in high-quality MP3 format via WhatsApp to the official submission line at 09063106930.
Every audio submission must be accompanied by the participant’s full name, current residential address, Local Government Area of origin or residence, a functional telephone number, and a brief professional profile.
The final deadline for all entries is strictly set for August 20, 2026, after which the panel will judge submissions based on originality, lyrical depth, musical production quality, memorability, and overall campaign resonance. All decisions made by the judges shall be final and legally binding.
By entering the contest, participants automatically grant the organizers, alongside pro-Mbah and pro-APC campaign support groups, the irrevocable and unconditional right to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, broadcast, and distribute the selected audio for nationwide mobilization and electioneering purposes without any further financial obligations beyond the initial prizes awarded.
The official date for the grand announcement of winners will be communicated to the public in due course. Jointly signed by Dan Nwomeh, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Mainstream Media, and Hon. Tony Okonkwo, the State Coordinator of the Tomorrow Is Here Movement, this initiative stands as a golden opportunity for local creatives to put their artistic skills to work, inspire millions of voters across the state, and claim substantial financial rewards.
