Mike Ogbuekwe has rounded off his Nkanu East chairmanship campaign in Nkerefi, thanking residents for their support, prayers and encouragement.
Engr. Mike Chikosolu Ogbuekwe has rounded off his campaign for the Nkanu East Local Government chairmanship with a homecoming in Nkerefi, describing the final day of the campaign as a deeply special moment.
Ogbuekwe’s campaign train arrived in his hometown on the final day of the campaign, where he was received by residents from the Nkerefi communities of Imeoha, Enuogu, Isienu Amofu and Ohuani Amofu.
Speaking on the significance of the homecoming, Ogbuekwe expressed gratitude for the warm reception and the support he received from his people throughout the campaign.
He thanked the people of Nkerefi and Ndi Nkanu East for their prayers, encouragement, goodwill and support, noting that the campaign provided him with an opportunity to travel across communities and wards, listen to residents and gain a deeper understanding of their concerns and aspirations.
The occasion also saw the people of Nkerefi express appreciation to Enugu State Governor, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for the development projects and interventions witnessed in the community.
Ogbuekwe said the conclusion of the campaign marked the end of the political campaign phase but not the end of his commitment to the people of Nkanu East.
“The campaign may be over, but our commitment to the people continues,” he said.
He further called for unity and collective effort as Nkanu East moves forward, adding: “Together, we move forward. Tomorrow Is Here.”
