President Bola Tinubu has praised Governor Peter Mbah’s leadership and developmental strides as he celebrates his birthday.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, on his 54th birthday, commending his leadership and achievements in office.
In a goodwill message marking the occasion on March 17, 2026, the President highlighted the progress recorded in Enugu State under Mbah’s administration over the past two years.
President Tinubu praised Mbah’s commitment to progressive governance and constitutional democracy, noting that his administration has been driven by transformative projects and programmes.
He described the governor as a lawyer and philanthropist whose leadership is anchored on vision and service to the people.
The President also acknowledged Mbah’s background in the oil and gas sector prior to his election in 2023, noting that his private-sector experience has contributed to his governance approach.
Reflecting on his 2025 visit to Enugu, Tinubu said he witnessed firsthand the impact of Mbah’s leadership.
“During my visit, I saw what competent leadership can achieve when driven by vision and dedication to public service,” the President said.
He further commended Mbah’s inclusive governance style and collaboration with other Southeast governors, noting that it is helping to reposition the region for economic and political transformation.
President Tinubu wished the Enugu governor good health, strength and continued success in service to the people.
