Fubara Meets President, Appreciates Lifting of State Emergency Measures
Abuja, September 23, 2025 – Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on Monday visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Speaking after the meeting, Fubara said his visit was to personally thank the President for lifting the suspensions and state of emergency previously imposed on the state.
“I visited Mr. President today to thank him on the lifting of the suspensions and state of emergency that had been imposed on the state. While I briefed him on my resumption, he offered some advice on charting the way forward,” Fubara stated.
