Abuja – President Muhammadu Buhari has announced the postponement of his trip to London, United Kingdom for medical check-up earlier scheduled for Friday.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, who announced this in a statement issued on Friday, did not give reasons for the postponement. The statement only said a new date will be announced in due course.
“The medical follow-up visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to United Kingdom earlier scheduled for today, Friday, June 25, 2021, has been postponed.
“A new date will be announced in due course.”
Recall that Buhari had on 16 April 2021 returned back to Abuja from a trip to London where he met his doctors for medicals.
