Umahi Congratulates Governor Soludo on Re-Election, Hails Progressive Leadership
Awka, November 10, 2025 – The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has congratulated Governor Charles Soludo on his re-election, describing the victory as a reflection of the trust and confidence the people of Anambra State have in his progressive leadership.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Umahi said the Governor Soludo re-election is a resounding endorsement of his people-oriented policies and transparent governance.
“Your Excellency, your resounding victory at the polls underlines the implicit confidence of the good people of Anambra State in your progressive leadership,” Umahi stated. “This renewed social contract is a mandate for you to continue to advance the cause of development anchored on transparency and accountability.”
The Works Minister commended Soludo for transforming the state’s development landscape and improving economic indicators that reflect growth and good governance.
“You have done very well in changing the developmental trajectory of Anambra State,” he said. “The new indices of growth are clear evidence of your commitment to the progress and prosperity of your people. I commend your humility and magnanimity in victory and urge you to continue providing inclusive leadership.”
On Governor Soludo re-election, Umahi further encouraged him to sustain his progressive policies that aim to position Anambra among the strongest sub-national economies in Nigeria.
He conveyed the goodwill of his family and staff of the Federal Ministry of Works to the governor and people of Anambra State, assuring them of continued partnership for infrastructure development.
