Ogbuekwe assures NYSC corps members in Nkanu East of support after they appeal for improved accommodation and basic amenities.

Nkanu East Local Government Council Chairman, Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe, has assured National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in the council area of his administration’s support, following concerns over accommodation and basic amenities.

He gave the assurance when the corps members paid him a visit at the council headquarters in Amagunze, where they highlighted challenges affecting their welfare and service experience.

The corps members specifically raised concerns over inadequate accommodation at their places of primary assignment and the absence of basic amenities in their lodges. They appealed to the council chairman to intervene and help address the challenges.
