Permanent Secretary appointments have been approved by Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule as five new officials join the state public service to strengthen efficiency and service delivery.
Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries into the state public service.
The Head of the Civil Service, Abigail Waya, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Lafia.
Waya said the appointments were part of the governor’s ongoing efforts to strengthen and reposition the state public service for improved efficiency and effective service delivery.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are: Isa Abdul-Osama from Doma Local Government Area; Adamu Akpa from Obi Local Government Area; Bilkisu Adamu from Keffi Local Government Area; Justina Allu from Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area; Ahmed Abdullahi Tsaku from Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area.
According to the Head of Service, the appointments are intended to further enhance the capacity of the state civil service and improve the delivery of government programmes to residents.
Waya said the new Permanent Secretaries would be sworn in at a date to be announced by the state government.
The appointments add five senior administrative officials to the Nasarawa State public service as the Sule administration continues its efforts to strengthen the machinery of government.
