Investment takes centre stage as Vice President Kashim Shettima arrives in Asaba for the Delta State Economic and Investment Summit aimed at boosting investor confidence, partnerships and economic growth.

Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Asaba, the Delta State capital, ahead of the Delta State Economic and Investment Summit scheduled for Monday.

The Investment Summit is expected to serve as a strategic platform for accelerating economic transformation, strengthening investor confidence, fostering public-private partnerships and attracting both local and foreign direct investments into Delta State.

Shettima is expected to deliver remarks highlighting how the reforms under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda are creating new opportunities for businesses and positioning Delta State as an attractive destination for investment.

The Vice President was received on arrival by Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke, alongside other political leaders, business executives and key stakeholders.

The summit is expected to bring together government officials, investors and industry leaders to explore opportunities for sustainable economic development and increased private sector participation in the state’s economy.
