The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has welcomed the birth of a baby girl with his wife, Olori Oluwatosin Ogunwusi, marking another joyful moment for the royal family.

In a statement issued on Monday by the Ooni’s Senior Media Officer, Mr. Sodiq Lawal, the royal household expressed profound gratitude to God for the safe arrival of the baby, describing the newborn princess as “a divine blessing to the House of Oduduwa.”

According to the statement, the monarch thanked the Almighty Olodumare for His grace and faithfulness, acknowledging that the successful delivery was a testament to divine mercy and protection.

“The Royal Father prayed that the newborn princess will grow in wisdom, grace, honour and divine favour throughout her lifetime,” the statement said.

The palace further disclosed that both Olori Oluwatosin and the baby are in excellent health.

The Ooni also prayed for God’s continued protection over the royal family and for lasting peace, prosperity and abundant grace upon the House of Oduduwa as they celebrate the arrival of the newest member of the royal household.
