A political group, Renewed Hope Advocates, has donated N50 million in support of the 2027 re-election bids of President Bola Tinubu and Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
The announcement was made on April 24, 2026, during the inauguration of the group’s National Executive Council in Jos.
The event attracted party loyalists, political stakeholders, and delegates from Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
National Coordinator of the group, Mrs Beatrice Dakas, said the donation represented a major political moment and reflected growing support for Tinubu and Mutfwang ahead of the next election cycle.
She stated that members of the organisation from across the country were present to unanimously endorse both leaders for a second term in office.
According to Dakas, the gesture was driven by admiration for the leadership style of Tinubu and Mutfwang, as well as what she described as visible developmental progress in Plateau State and across Nigeria.
She added that the group remains committed to offering continuous support, encouragement, and prayers for both leaders to succeed.
Dakas also said the movement would intensify grassroots mobilisation efforts from rural communities to urban centres, insisting that the achievements of both administrations justify continuity in governance.
She appealed to Nigerians to back Tinubu’s re-election bid, arguing that his reforms, leadership decisions, and determination to reposition the country would soon yield broader results.
While acknowledging current economic difficulties, she maintained that the President had shown resilience in addressing long-standing national issues and laying foundations for sustainable growth.
Responding, Governor Mutfwang, represented by Deputy Governor Josephine Piyo, thanked the group for the show of support.
He described the move as renewed commitment to purposeful leadership, good governance, and national development.
The governor added that the organisation represented a movement built on unity, conviction, and confidence in Nigeria’s future.
Mutfwang also urged the newly inaugurated executives to embrace service, discipline, loyalty, and sacrifice, stressing that leadership should be measured by responsibility and impact.
