The All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded arrangements for its South-East zonal Congress scheduled to hold in Enugu on Wednesday.
The exercise is in line with the 2026 timetable for nationwide congresses earlier released by the party’s national leadership, which initially did not specify venues.
However, in a notice addressed to the Independent National Electoral Commission and titled “Notices of Conduct of Zonal Congresses,” the party confirmed the Multipurpose Hall of Hotel Presidential as the venue for the South-East zonal congress.
The notice was jointly issued by the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, and National Secretary, Surajudeen Bashiru.
According to the party, other zonal congress venues include Mobolaji Johnson Arena for the South-West zone and Dome Event Centre for the South-South zone.
The North-West congress will hold at the Yar’Adua Multipurpose Conference Centre located within Murtala Muhammed Square, Kaduna, while the North-East zone will meet at the International Conference Centre.
For the North-Central zone, the party fixed Aliyu Akwe Doma Conference Hall, Government House, Lafia, Nasarawa State, as venue.
The party said all zonal congresses are expected to commence simultaneously at 10:00 a.m. across the designated venues.
