MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited has urged customers across Enugu State to settle their September electricity bills for August consumption or risk disconnection during the public holiday.
MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL) has warned electricity customers across Enugu State to settle their outstanding September bills to avoid disconnection during the public holiday.
The electricity distribution company, in a public notice issued on Tuesday, September 29, urged customers who are yet to pay their bills for electricity consumed in August to make prompt payments.
MainPower said its field teams would conduct disconnection exercises targeting customers with unpaid electricity bills as part of its revenue drive.

The company warned that customers disconnected over non-payment would be required to pay the applicable reconnection fee before their electricity supply could be restored.
It urged customers to fulfil their payment obligations promptly to avoid service disruptions, particularly during the public holiday.
MainPower also reaffirmed its commitment to improving electricity services and providing more reliable power supply to customers across the state.
The company listed several payment channels available to customers, including its cash offices, authorised collection agents and electronic payment platforms.
Customers can pay their bills through bank applications, Quickteller, E-Transact, BuyPower and other approved payment channels.
MainPower expressed appreciation to its customers for their cooperation and urged them to support its operations by paying their electricity bills promptly.
The notice was signed by the management of MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited on September 29, 2026.
