Emmanuel Ekene Nnamani, Chairman of ESIRS, will speak on taxation, innovation and sustainable business growth at the Impact Business Innovation Summit 2026 in Enugu.
The Executive Chairman of the Enugu State Internal Revenue Service (ESIRS), Emmanuel Ekene Nnamani, FCA, FCTI, will feature as a guest speaker at the Impact Business Innovation Summit 2026 scheduled to hold in Enugu.
The summit, with the theme, “Innovate, Build and Scale Up,” will take place at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Enugu, on September 18, 2026.
Nnamani, who is also a Board Member of the Joint Revenue Board, Nigeria, is expected to share insights on business innovation, taxation, financial responsibility and strategies for building sustainable enterprises.
The tax administrator brings over 21 years of professional experience spanning internal audit, internal control, compliance, revenue mobilisation and financial management to the summit.
As Executive Chairman of ESIRS, Nnamani has been involved in efforts to strengthen revenue administration and promote the deployment of technology in tax collection, particularly within the informal sector.
His participation at the business summit is expected to provide entrepreneurs, young innovators and business leaders with practical perspectives on the relationship between innovation, financial management, taxation and sustainable business growth.
Before his appointment as Executive Chairman of ESIRS, Nnamani held several positions in the financial and banking sectors.
He served as Senior Control Officer and Acting Control Manager at FirstBank of Nigeria Limited, where he also held responsibilities as Learning Champion and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Champion.
He was also an Internal Control and Compliance Officer at Fidelity Bank Plc, Pioneer Head of Internal Audit at Enugu State College of Education (Technical), and an Account Staff at Bubbles Plaza Ltd., Enugu.
Nnamani is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
He holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Nigeria and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT).
He also holds a Mini MBA from the Tekedia Institute in the United States.
Beyond taxation and accounting, Nnamani has built experience in business modelling, innovation, design thinking and strategic development through professional training programmes in Nigeria and abroad.
He serves on the boards of several start-up companies, including Students Swot & Associates, Early Lead Consult Ltd. and KOIN Resource Ltd.
He is also a former President of the ICAN Enugu District Micro-Finance Cooperative Society Ltd.
For more than 17 years, Nnamani has contributed to youth development and mentorship through Students Swot & Associates, Enugu, where he has supported young people in the areas of knowledge development, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Organisers of the Impact Business Innovation Summit said the event would bring together entrepreneurs, young innovators, business leaders, investors and other stakeholders to explore ideas and opportunities for enterprise development.
The Impact Youth Development Initiative, organisers of the summit, said the event would focus on empowering ideas, building enterprises and creating lasting impact.
Participants are expected to gain insights from experts and industry leaders on innovation, business growth and strategies for building enterprises capable of competing and scaling in an evolving economic environment.
