The outdoor show marked a major addition to Davido’s growing catalogue of international performances and formed part of his continued push to take Afrobeats to global audiences.
Davido had earlier described the Crystal Palace Bowl event as his first-ever festival in the United Kingdom and his only outdoor London show of the summer.
The performance was part of Palace Bowl Presents, a new summer festival series running from July 31 to August 16, 2026, at Crystal Palace Bowl, with global acts across different genres.
The official event organisers described Davido as a global force in music and noted his extensive international streaming and performance record.
Following the successful London performance, Davido announced two dates for another London stadium tour scheduled for 2027.

Davido’s latest London shows further underline his growing profile in the UK. He previously made history by becoming the first solo African artist to sell out London’s O2 Arena in 2019, according to his official Ticketmaster biography.
The “Davido & Friends” concert brought together a strong lineup of African artists, reflecting the growing international appeal of Afrobeats and contemporary African music.
Among those billed for the event were Omah Lay, Black Sherif, Gabzy, TxC, Jazzwrld & Thukuthela, ECool, Morravey and Boi Chase.
The concert attracted fans from London and beyond, who gathered to watch Davido perform some of his biggest songs and celebrate his continued influence on the global Afrobeats movement.
