Hajj fare for Kano State pilgrims has been fixed at ₦7 million for the 2027 pilgrimage, with the state Pilgrims Welfare Board setting August 25, 2026, as the registration deadline.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced ₦7 million as the final fare for intending pilgrims from the state for the 2027 Hajj.
The Director-General of the board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim-Matawalle, announced the fare in a statement signed by the board’s Public Relations Officer, Sulaiman Dederi, in Kano.
The board also reminded intending pilgrims that the deadline for registration remains August 25, 2026.
It urged all intending pilgrims who are yet to submit their international passports to do so before the deadline to facilitate proper documentation and ensure smooth preparations for the pilgrimage.
“All intending pilgrims who are yet to submit their international passports should do so before the deadline,” the board said.
The board advised intending pilgrims and other stakeholders to take note of the ₦7 million fare and comply with all requirements within the stipulated timeframe.
According to the board, timely submission of required documents will help ensure effective planning and a smooth Hajj operation.
The Pilgrims Welfare Board reaffirmed its commitment to providing efficient services to intending pilgrims and ensuring a successful pilgrimage operation in 2027.
