Governor Umaru Bago of Niger State has presented official vehicles to all 25 female Local Government Vice Chairmen to facilitate grassroots mobilization and ease administrative duties.
In a monumental effort to bolster grassroots development and support gender inclusion in public administration, the Executive Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has formally presented brand new official vehicles to all twenty-five Local Government Vice Chairmen across the state.
The governor hosted the high-profile presentation ceremony at the Government House in Minna on Tuesday, personally handing over the keys of the utility automobiles to the beneficiaries, who are notably all women. Bago emphasized that the distribution of these vehicles was a deliberate and calculated step to ease the physical movements and operational logistics of the vice chairmen, enabling them to navigate their respective local government areas with greater efficiency.
During the presentation, the governor promised continued, unwavering support to the female administrators to help them make a greater, more sustainable impact on their communities.
He explained that by equipping local leaders with the necessary mobility, his administration is systematically facilitating development, enhancing security supervision, and strengthening the delivery of critical public services at the very basic grassroots level.
One of the prominent beneficiaries, Mrs. Christiana Alkali, spoke on behalf of her colleagues to express deep appreciation to the governor for the generous gesture. She assured the state leadership that the newly acquired mobility would directly translate to increased dedication, heightened commitment to duty, and a renewed drive to implement grassroots-focused policies across the twenty-five local government areas of Niger State.
