PDP has announced the successful upload of its 2027 presidential candidate, running mate and National Assembly candidates into the INEC nomination portal ahead of the general elections.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the successful upload of the names of its 2027 presidential candidate, running mate and National Assembly candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination portal.
The announcement was made on Sunday in Abuja by the party’s National Chairman, Abdulrahman Mohammed.
Mohammed described the successful upload of the candidates’ details as a significant milestone and evidence of the party’s commitment to fully participating in the 2027 general elections.
He said the development fulfils an earlier commitment by the party’s leadership to ensure that the PDP remains actively engaged in the electoral process.
“Today, we have taken another decisive step toward fulfilling that promise,” Mohammed said.
He added that the party is awaiting the completion of the upload of its governorship and State Houses of Assembly candidates into the INEC nomination portal.
Congratulating party members across the country and in the diaspora, the PDP National Chairman expressed confidence in the party’s future.
“As we await the conclusion of the upload of our governorship and State Houses of Assembly candidates, I, on behalf of the National Working Committee of our party, extend my heartfelt congratulations to all PDP members across Nigeria and around the world.
“Together, we will continue to build a stronger, more united party and a better future for our nation,” Mohammed stated.
