Governor Peter Mbah has congratulated newly elected APC national executives and praised President Bola Tinubu for a rancour-free national convention in Abuja.
Governor Peter Mbah has congratulated members of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress elected at the party’s national convention held in Abuja.
Mbah described the new executives as “round pegs in round holes,” saying their emergence reflected confidence in their ability to steer the party to greater heights and prepare it for victory in the 2027 general elections.
He specifically congratulated the National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda; National Secretary, Surajudeen Basiru; Deputy National Chairman (South), Ben Nwoye; and Deputy National Chairman (North), Ali Bukar Dalori, among others.
According to the governor, the new leadership brings deep experience in party politics and strong commitment to democracy and national development.

Mbah also paid tribute to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the peace, orderliness and sense of brotherhood that characterised the convention reflected the President’s leadership and inclusive governance philosophy.
He said the rancour-free exercise set a benchmark for other political parties.
“Democracy is about the people, and we have demonstrated that tonight. The success of this convention shows that as a party, we are not only modelling good governance and implementing reforms that are repositioning our economy, we have also shown that the APC is a model in party politics and that we are one big family,” Mbah said.
The governor pledged his support for the new party leadership and urged members to rally round them to consolidate the gains of the congresses and the national convention.
