Flybird Aircraft Management Services Ltd. has confirmed that all passengers and crew aboard its Abuja–Kano flight were safe following an unusual landing in Kano on Sunday morning.
The confirmation was contained in a statement signed by Flybird’s Corporate Communications team in Lagos.
According to the company, the aircraft with registration number 5N-ISB experienced an incident during landing, but the flight crew adhered strictly to all established operational and safety procedures, bringing the aircraft to a safe stop.
“All 11 passengers and three crew members disembarked safely, with no injuries recorded,” the statement said.
Flybird added that the aircraft had been secured and that the incident was formally reported to the relevant aviation authorities in line with regulatory requirements.
“The aircraft has been secured, and the incident has been formally reported to the relevant aviation authorities,” the statement read in part.
It further disclosed that a detailed technical inspection and investigation were already ongoing.
