Power Outage in parts of Enugu earlier scheduled by the Mainpower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL) has been canceled. The planned power outage, which was to last from Wednesday, October 22, 2025, to Friday, October 31, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., was called off due to unforeseen technical constraints communicated by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
According to MEDL, the affected 33KV feeders for the canceled power outage include Kingsway Lines 1 & 2, Emene Industrial Lines 1 & 2, Thinkers Corner, Trans-Ekulu, Ugwuogo, and Ituku Ozalla.
The distribution company assured that a new date for the power outage maintenance schedule will be communicated once confirmed, emphasizing its commitment to reliable service delivery and customer satisfaction.
