Port Harcourt-Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has extended warm wishes to former Nigerian First Lady, Dame (Mrs.) Patience Goodluck Jonathan, on her 59th birthday, celebrated Friday, October 25, 2024.

In a statement issued from Port Harcourt by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, Governor Fubara described Dame Jonathan as “a woman of peace, a distinguished and patriotic Nigerian whose life has been a pillar of support, source of love, strength, and blessings to loved ones and others far and near.”

“On behalf of the Government and good people of Rivers State, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to Your Excellency, Dame (Mrs.) Patience Goodluck Jonathan, on this occasion of your 59th birthday,” Fubara stated. “You are undisputedly a woman of peace, leadership, wisdom, benevolence, and unwavering dedication to public service.”

Governor Fubara continued, “Over the years, you have not only exemplified an enviable lifestyle but have continued to demonstrate a strong commitment to various political and social causes—particularly in agriculture, women’s empowerment, education, healthcare, and philanthropy. Your contributions to Rivers State, Nigeria, and the African continent have left indelible marks on the sands of time.”
