The actual event was the solemnization of holy matrimony between Abasifreke Asuquo IKOedem of Nung Udo Etok Ndinya Mfia, in Ikono L.G.A, and Samuel Bassey Eyo of Ndon Itie Udung, in Nsit Atai L.G.A, both in Akwa Ibom State. It is important to clarify that the couple were never members of the Roman Catholic Church, as was erroneously stated in the previous article.
