The Enugu State House of Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal had last Friday, nullified the declaration of Hon Okey Mbah as the winner of the election of Nkanu East State Constituency of the Enugu State House of Assembly.
The tribunal upheld the petition filed by Surveyor Okwy Nnaji of the Labour Party and ordered for a fresh election in the LGA.
Futhermore, the tribunal ordered that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) withdraws the certificate of return issued to Hon Okey Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and for the commission to conduct a rerun of the state constituency election within 90 days. GMTNews
