Chimaroke Nnamani admits he was expelled by the PDP, takes a swipe at ex Enugu governor, Ugwuanyi

Former governor of Enugu State Chimaroke Nnamani has affirmed that he was expelled by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The former governor who is still visibly angry having lost his Senatorial bid in the March 18, 2023 rescheduled Senate election in Enugu East Senatorial District, said his ill fate in the election was planned and executed by the immediate past governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

The election was rescheduled to March 18 a result of the assassination on February 22 of Chief Oyibo Chukwu, Labour Party Senate candidate for Enugu East District, three days to the 2023 presidential and national assembly elections.

In his latest tirade, former governor Nnamani who is also the immediate past senator for Enugu East Senatorial District, took a swipe at the immediate past governor of Enugu, via his verified Twitter handle @ChimarokeNnamani, describing him as a woeful failure having served as Enugu governor for eight years.

Nnamani accused Ugwuanyi of arranging his suspension and eventual expulsion from the PDP.

A wobbling fatso, that I introduced to politics via the House of Representatives in 2003. Paraphrasing the sage Okadigbo, “bumbling unsure jelly like mass of protoplasm” A struggling Insurance salesman in Trans-Ekulu, Enugu. That year 2003, I sent him to HOR via Express delivery, all expenses paid. Bought his form, sponsored all his campaign and paid all his legal fees and guaranteed his second term. All done unsolicited! Twenty years later, 2023 election, he personally selected all my agents. Arranged my suspension and expulsion from PDP. Despite loosing his polling booth twice, back to back while “sitting ” as governor in Enugu. Gburus personally made calls supervising sabotage of my election.
