The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Mr. Peter Obi has said he does not begrudge anyone who feels he cannot support his presidential aspiration rather he would like a situation where all presidential candidates are asked to explain what they had done in the past and what they plan to do for Nigeria if elected.
Mr Obi who spoke on BBC News Igbo said he does not run his life based on hear say, insisting that he was the only Presidential aspirant that had gone round the 36 states of Nigeria except one, interacting and meeting with the people on how to take back Nigeria her plunderers, rebuild and make it a productive country.
He stated that to tour the 36 states of Nigeria except one, was not a project a Vice Presidential candidate would embark upon. “If you are being prepared for a vice president position, would you embark on such a journeys”? He queried. “You probably would relax in your home waiting for an invitation from another person to be his or her Vice”.

“I have been to places in this country I bet you won’t dare travel to. I have visited some states that I was warned not to visit because of threats of insecurity”.
“I have traveled three and half hours by road in the North without meeting a vehicle on the road except my convoy. You can go and ask Doyin Okupe and others that were with me on the trip”.
Peter Obi said the reason for agitations in some part of the country is because Nigeria is not united, every Nigerian is not treated as one and that is he is vying for president to bring the elusive unity back into the country where everybody will see each other as one. “There is need to have progress, unity and peace”.

He said he was disposed to implement the 2009 agreement the federal government entered into with the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, so the lecturers and students can go back to classes, if elected president.
He said he was desperate to see a Nigeria that the youths would be proud to believe in and call there own.
