A humanitarian and human rights advocate, Veteran USA, Ij Onuigbo, has condemned the thinking in some quarters that ritual killings are on the increase due to women rejecting low level men who ask for their hands in marriage.
She made her feelings known while reacting to a trending video on the subject matter which is said to be wide spread in South East, Nigeria.
Ij is of the opinion that the ugly happenings is not because women tend to reject men who do menial jobs asking their hands in marriage.
She says the women have the right to choose whom they want to marry.
