Law makers of Imo State House of Assembly, on Monday impeached the speaker, Hon. Paul Emeziem and replaced him with Hon. Kennedy Ibe.
The impeachment which took place under heavy security had 19 out of the 27 legislators said sign the impeachment papers.
Sketchy information said that the allegedly impeached Deputy Speaker of the House, Amara Iwuanyanwu, arrived the Assembly Chambers with about six lawmakers and some security officials to effect the impeachment of the Speaker.
