Veteran actor and Fred Ade-Willians in Tinsel, Victor Olaotan has passed away.
He died on Thursday night.
Prior to his death, Olaotan, popularly known as Big Daddy was bedridden for five years after being involved in a ghastly accident which occurred at Apple Junction, in Festac, Lagos.
He was driving to a movie set when the accident occurred in October 2016. He suffered a traumatic brain injury after the ghastly car accident.
Confirming his death, his wife, Julia Olaotan appreciated the support donors and Nigerians had given her family while Olaokun was sick and was grateful that he can finally rest after suffering for years.
Julia said, “He has tried. It is not easy to be trapped in your own body for five years. He can finally rest now.”
The veteran actor had celebrated his 69th birthday on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, in a Turkish hospital.
In 2019, billionaire businessman and philanthropist, Femi Otedola, donated N30m to the actor.
