Justice James Omotosho on Thursday directed the Department of State Service (DSS) to remove Nnamdi Kanu from the courtroom after the IPOB leader disrupted court proceedings.
The order followed Kanu’s refusal to allow the scheduled judgment to proceed, insisting that the court should not continue with the hearing. Despite repeated appeals from DSS operatives to comply with court instructions, he remained defiant.
Faced with the disruption, Justice Omotosho temporarily stood down the case and instructed the security officials to escort the defendant out of the courtroom. The judge emphasized the need to maintain decorum and uphold the authority of the court.
