Abakaliki – Beneficiaries of the first batch of Ebonyi State Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMSEs) programme have been empowered.

According to the Hon. Commissioner for Empowerment, Mrs. Ann Aligwe, the Secretary to the State Government and Coordinating Commissioner for the programme, Ugbala Kenneth Igwe, had announced that the State Governor, Engr Dav Umahi, graciously gave approval for the empowerment of 40 beneficiaries in the first batch.

The flag off of the programme which was performed Thursday, 29th July, 2021, held at the Old Executive Council (EXCO) Chamber.

The beneficiaries who cut across Goods, Services and Agri-preneurs, received their empowerment cheques at the event.
