Barely 24 hours after gunmen assassinated Okeke, the MD of Auto Ease, an Enugu Vehicle body repairs outfit, at bricks 🧱🧱 area in the Independence Layout of Enugu, hooded armed robbers Monday evening invaded and robbed a Super Market in an area popularly known as Onu Asata in Ogui New Layout, Enugu.
The robbers who came in three Hilux vans, shot sporadically into the air and carted away many items from the Super Market.
Passersby who scampered to safety gave the robbers the leeway to rob the business place. Valuables carted away include items such as bags of rice, cartons of indomie, gas cylinders and many others.
The operation which took place at about 6:30 PM went on unchallenged for a long time, as it caused a great panic in the area.
Enugu is fast losing the peace it is known for, and GMTNews is calling on the authorities to arrest the ugly trend.
