Report has it that the APC Federal Govt today denied Peter Ob’s Labour Party Presidential Candidate’s campaign aircraft with the signage “Obi-Dient”, authorization to take off.
The plane was expected to fly Obi to Ibadan, capital of Oyo state for today’s campaigns.
In a telephone chat with GMTNews on whether the campaign aircraft was impounded, Oseloka H. OBAZE, Peter Obi’s Presidential Campaign Manager said “the plane was not impounded, what happened was the it was not granted permission to fly”.
He thereafter referred our reporter to his verified Twitter handle.
With this development, it is expected that Mr Peter Obi may travel by road to Ibadan.

“The Obidient plane was grounded today by the powers that be “for regulatory reasons” only. Please ignore any mischievous rumour. Our massive rally in Ibadan is going on as planned.
