President Bola Tinubu has prayed for Nigeria’s diversity to become a powerful force for prosperity, national unity, peace and sustainable development during a dinner with his delegation in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has prayed for Nigeria’s ethnic, religious and cultural diversity to become a powerful force for national prosperity, unity, peace and sustainable development.

The President made the prayer on Sunday in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, while hosting members of his delegation to dinner, urging Nigerians to embrace mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence and a shared commitment to national progress.

Tinubu expressed hope that the country’s diversity would remain a source of strength and national advancement rather than division, calling on citizens of different backgrounds and faiths to work together in the interest of Nigeria.

He also prayed for enduring peace, harmony and prosperity for the country, asking Almighty Allah to grant its leaders the wisdom, courage and foresight needed to steer the nation towards greater development and improved living conditions.

“May Almighty Allah bless Nigeria, convert our diversity into prosperity as a country,” the President said.

Tinubu further sought divine guidance and protection for Nigerians at home and abroad, praying that Allah would strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among citizens and inspire patriotism, compassion and dedication to national service.

He noted that Nigeria’s abundant human and natural resources, alongside the talents, creativity and enterprise of its diverse population, provided a strong foundation for building an inclusive and prosperous nation.

The dinner also provided an opportunity for fellowship and reflection on the collective aspirations of Nigerians for a peaceful, united and prosperous country.

The President encouraged Nigerians, irrespective of their religious and ethnic affiliations, to continue working together, expressing confidence that faith, unity of purpose and collective determination would help the country overcome its challenges and realise its full potential.

“We will continue to support His Excellency in whatever capacity we can and definitely, as you all know, Mr President is very passionate about the country. He’s working very hard, and we’ll continue to support him,” Rabiu said.
