Enugu State is preparing to host major gaming, technology, and investment stakeholders at the Enugu Gaming Conference (EGC2026) from July 29 to 30, accelerating regional tech investment and digital innovation under Governor Peter Mbah’s administration.

Enugu State is positioned to solidify its standing as a major regional hub for tech innovation and digital investment as it prepares to host the Enugu Gaming Conference (EGC2026) from July 29 to 30, 2026, at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Enugu.

Organized by Events Arcade Solutions Limited in partnership with the Enugu State Gaming and Lotteries Commission (ESGC), the summit is themed “Code, Capital and Compliance: Unlocking Nigeria’s iGaming Tech Opportunity“.

The gathering reinforces Enugu’s growing reputation as a preferred destination for private capital, tech entrepreneurship, and digital policy dialogue under the administration of Governor Peter Mbah.

The two-day conference will convene an international delegation of regulators, public officials, gaming operators, financial tech executives, software engineers, legal scholars, and venture capitalists from across Nigeria and the African continent.

Operational deliberations will center on cutting-edge developments in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory technology (RegTech), digital payment systems, anti-money laundering protocols, and responsible gaming infrastructure.

Beyond direct policy and technical workshops, the conference is structured to catalyze immediate local economic activity—boosting hospitality, transport, and commercial enterprise throughout the state capital while unlocking fresh venture capital pathways for emerging tech startups.

The executive speaker lineup features high-profile keynotes, including the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh; Founder of iGaming Afrika (Kenya), Jeremiah Maangi; Co-founder of Isoftnova Technologies Limited, Kelani Opeyemi Mercy; alongside prominent financial technology leaders and compliance experts.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Executive Secretary and CEO of the Enugu State Gaming and Lotteries Commission, Prince Arinze Arum, stated that EGC2026 serves as a strategic bridge connecting public policy with tech-driven enterprise. He noted that host status directly aligns with Governor Mbah’s visionary goal to leverage improved local infrastructure and business-friendly regulations to establish Enugu as a premier continental technology center.
