The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has uploaded the nomination particulars of its presidential and vice-presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi, to the INEC portal ahead of the 2027 general election.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has successfully uploaded the nomination particulars of its presidential and vice-presidential candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination portal ahead of the 2027 general election.
The party confirmed that its presidential candidate, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, and vice-presidential candidate, former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi, have both completed the nomination submission process.
The announcement was made on Tuesday night by the National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, in a post on his X account.
According to Abdullahi, the successful upload marks another important milestone in the party’s preparations for the 2027 elections.
“We are pleased to announce the successful upload of the names and particulars of our presidential and vice-presidential candidates to the INEC nomination portal,” he stated.
He said the development reflects the ADC’s commitment to presenting Nigerians with what it described as a credible political alternative built on competence, national unity and renewal.
The submission of the candidates’ particulars is in line with the electoral process established by INEC for political parties participating in the 2027 general election.
