President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated former presidential aspirant and youth advocate Dr Nicolas Felix on the occasion of his 45th birthday, praising his contributions to democratic development, youth empowerment and humanitarian service.
In a goodwill message issued on Tuesday, the President described Felix as a committed advocate for youth inclusion whose efforts have continued to inspire young Nigerians to participate actively in nation-building and democratic governance.
Felix, who turned 45 on June 24, previously contested the 2019 presidential election as the candidate of the People’s Coalition Party (PCP), emerging among the notable contenders in the race.
He later became the youngest aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election that eventually produced Bola Tinubu as the party’s flag bearer ahead of the 2023 general election.
President Tinubu commended Felix for his dedication to promoting democratic values and creating opportunities for greater youth participation in leadership and governance.
The President also acknowledged Felix’s role as Deputy National Youth Coordinator of the APC Presidential Campaign Council during the build-up to the 2023 presidential election.
According to Tinubu, Felix demonstrated commitment and leadership throughout the campaign period while championing initiatives aimed at mobilising and empowering young people across the country.
Beyond politics, the President highlighted Felix’s humanitarian and religious contributions, noting his impact as a pastor and academic.
Felix currently serves as a Professor of Humanitarianism at Heart Bible International University in Florida, United States, where he has continued to support educational, humanitarian and community development initiatives.
The President noted that Felix has used his influence and platform to positively affect lives in both Nigeria and the United States through mentorship, advocacy and charitable engagements.
Tinubu expressed appreciation for Felix’s continued efforts in advancing youth development and social impact programmes, describing his journey as a testament to the importance of service, resilience and commitment to national progress.
As he marked the milestone birthday, the President prayed for good health, wisdom and many more years of meaningful service and impact.
He wished Felix continued success in his personal, professional and humanitarian endeavours while encouraging him to sustain his contributions to youth empowerment and national development.
The birthday tribute reflects ongoing recognition of the role young leaders and advocates play in strengthening democratic institutions and expanding opportunities for future generations of Nigerians.
