Chief Of Staff Gbajabiamila Disclaims Fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council

Gbajabiamila

Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila has issued a public disclaimer warning that the “Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council” is a fraudulent body with no federal ties.

The Presidency has issued an urgent public disclaimer warning local and international organizations against associating with a fraudulent entity operating under the name “Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council.”

The formal notice, released on Thursday, June 11, 2026, was personally signed by the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

According to the State House, a certain individual identified as Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi has been falsely presenting himself to members of the public, foreign diplomats, and corporate bodies as a legitimate federal official appointed by the Office of the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Gbajabiamila categorically stated that the purported organization is entirely fake and has absolutely no institutional relationship with the current administration.

“The unsuspecting public is hereby advised to note that such an office does not exist under this administration and no appointment has been made in that regard,” the Chief of Staff declared.

The Presidency explained that the deceptive scheme appears engineered to exploit international development channels, cross-border financial networks, and foreign diplomatic missions operating within Nigeria’s borders.

To prevent institutional fraud and protect the integrity of Nigeria’s international relations, the Office of the Chief of Staff directed all foreign and domestic security apparatuses to keep a close watch on the characters behind the fraudulent agency.

The statement specifically advised Foreign and Diplomatic Missions, Multilateral Financial Institutions, International Development Organizations, and national Security Agencies to be highly vigilant, recognize the contents of the official disclaimer, and completely ignore any communication originating from the group.

Security agencies have reportedly been briefed on the development to trail and investigate the fraudulent operations, while the general public is urged to verify all presidential appointments through official government gazettes and official State House communication channels.
