Governor Uba Sani has called for stronger multi-stakeholder partnerships in the education sector, stating that public funding alone cannot shoulder the responsibility of educating every child.
Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has stated that the massive financial and structural responsibilities of the contemporary education sector cannot be carried by the public treasury alone. He called for aggressive, multi-stakeholder collaborations to systematically advance learning outcomes across the state.
The Governor made the declaration over the weekend during the official commissioning of an elite learning facility established by the Christian Academy Management at Ungwan Bulus, Sabon Tasha, within the Chikun Local Government Area.
Represented at the high-profile ceremony by the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Kaduna State, Dr. James Kanyip, Governor Sani emphasized that sustainable progress in human capital development can only be achieved through deliberate partnerships bridging the state government, local communities, faith-based organizations, and private investors.
“The task of educating our children cannot be left to government alone. Meaningful progress requires collaboration among government, communities, faith-based organisations and private institutions. This is why we greatly value initiatives such as this one,” the Governor affirmed.
The commissioning event coincided with an identical call to action by the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa, who attended the launch to validate the project as a critical “non-kinetic weapon” in the ongoing fight against regional banditry and ideological extremism.
The Academy project, which was facilitated through strategic community development allocations supported by the leadership of the Department of State Services (DSS), serves as an intentional blueprint for interfaith harmony and social intervention. It mirrors a parallel Islamic learning facility donated by the same block of stakeholders to the Muslim community in Danbushiya, Chikun LGA, late last year.
Governor Sani reiterated his administration’s absolute readiness to partner with verified private entities and individuals who share a clear passion for intellectual advancement. He noted that investing heavily in the minds of the younger generation remains the most definitive, long-term strategy to guarantee permanent peace, grassroots wealth creation, and overall national security.
Since taking the reins of leadership, the current administration has implemented wide-ranging policies targeting the immediate rehabilitation of public schools, expanding tech-driven learning opportunities, and driving educational equity.
Governor Sani concluded by commending the Christian Academy Management, declaring their structural investment a perfect demonstration of corporate social responsibility and visionary human capital engineering.
